​ An art initiative honoring the 250th Anniversary of the United States.
Through these original artworks, each featuring the authentic signature of an American citizen, this project celebrates identity, legacy, and unity.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Every piece is a gift from the artist to the participant and is intended to celebrate the beauty and individuality of each participant’s name through their signature.
My name is Glenn Wootton, and I’m a lifelong educator and artist.

The goal of this project is to accumulate a collection of signatures over the next year ending December 31, 2026.
​
It is being done in the hopes that by creating a set of artworks in celebration of a country, a state, a school, a town…
​​
in celebration of the names that make them all a home...
​
something worth doing will have been done, and that it might have some value (simply beyond an oddity) depending on the value of the names that could be acquired and included.
​
It could be that the value of the names is already there.
​
All of those acquired will have been students.
​
Many of them will have been students of mine.
